ADAC Announces New Vice President of Manufacturing Operations

Muskegon, Michigan, Sept. 27, 2017 Tier-one automotive supplier ADAC Automotive has hired Jorge E. Martell as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations.

In his new role, Martell will direct multi-site manufacturing operations including lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant and associate performance measures through a team of functional managers and supervisors.

Martell brings more than 20 years of engineering, operations and management experience to his new role.  Most recently, Martell served as director of operations for ADAC STRATTEC de Mexico, where he was responsible for coordinating project management, manufacturing engineering, production, materials management, technical support and quality functions.  Martell has also served in engineering and sales roles with STRATTEC Security Corporation in Troy, Michigan, Dearborn, Michigan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Juarez, Mexico.

Martell holds an industrial and systems engineer degree from the ITESM Campus Juarez and a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua.
